EQUITY, ENGAGEMENT, and EDUCATION for all in South Dakota.
We envision an inclusive, liberated community where everyone exercises their rights without discrimination.
We are committed to racial equity and civic engagement, we strive for a world without racism, where Black people and all marginalized communities thrive.

WE ARE UNIT 4102-B
LAND ACKNOWLEDGMENT
We meet today from across this land now known as South Dakota.
This land we occupy has been called ‘home’ for hundreds of years by the Oceti Sakowin [oh-CHEH-tee shaw-KOH-we] which means “Seven Council Fires” and refers collectively to the Lakota, Dakota and Nakota people.
NAACP Sioux Falls 4102-B stands in solidarity with Native nations; to protect and honor the heritage of the Oceti Sakowin, and also to learn and teach the accurate history of this place.
